Italian Woman in the Kitchen

Cooking...the all encompassing term of making food. Some are better at it than others, some enjoy the process more than others. We associate the term "cooking" with the fact that we are about to get fed and enjoy whatever has been placed in front of us (I hope!). 

I am by no means the best cook in the world, if I was I would have my own cooking show on the Food Network making lots of money. haha However, as you can see I am not, but I am good enough to cook for myself and my boyfriend, and I don't hear him complaining!

I come from an Italian family. My mom is 100% Italian so I grew up in a house where dinner was cooked just about every night. Cooking is in our blood. It is a tradition to pass down recipes from generation to generation and why wouldn't we want to?! These recipes are DELICIOUS!

Growing up my sister and I would help my mom cook in the kitchen, as most kids enjoy doing.  She says we would pull the chairs up to the counter so we could reach everything. As we got older we continued to help her in the kitchen. I moved out on my own 4 years ago and had to learn how to cook a lot more, but I was equipped with a lot of skill already! (Thanks mom!) 

My love of cooking has grown as I find new recipes on Pinterest, the Team Beachbody Blog, different cookbooks, and even experimenting a little myself! I hope on this page you find recipes to make and share with your own family. <3
